A Little Light Worrying
Mel Calman
Edited by Claire Calman Foreword by Michael Palin
"A champion of the considered understatement and an artist who has written the human condition in a nutshell" (Ralph Steadman)
"Calman's cartoons do not savage or mock. His pen was human, his humour gentle and wry. The precision of his drawings and captions reveal needling truths about emotional anxiety, fallibility and the fear of incompatibility, provoking the sometimes rueful smile of recognition." (Scotland on Sunday)
