Steve Bell

Steve Bell is an award-winning political cartoonist, and is best known for his leader-page 'IF. . . . ' strip that appears in The Guardian. His work has also been published in major political periodicals and has provided animations for national television.

A retrospective volume of Steve Bell's cartoons and satiric drawings (in black and white and colour) which have appeared in different mediums over the past decade, including The Spectator, Punch and The New Statesman. It shows the work of this award-winning cartoonist and editorial artist as being among the finest satiric drawings of the twentieth century.

About the author:

Steve Bell is acclaimed as the master of contemporary cartoon satire, best known for his leader-page cartoons and daily 'If...' strip in the Guardian. He lives in Brighton.

Steve Bell was named Cartoonist of the Year in 1997 and Political Cartoonist of the Year in 1998.
